Your thoughts may be that dog training can be just to tough, even tougher if you have not done any training before. You are tired of your dog messing around, but what can you do to get him to listen? What will happen if you don’t do things right? Sure it could be difficult sure you will probably become frustrated, but remaining persistant and showing patience through out your pup’s training is going to be worth it over time.

You will likely come to the conclusion that during training not only is your dog learning , but you are also. You’ll really get to understand your canine’s personality and the relationship between the two of you will be better for it. To move things along more smoothly make sure that the training techniques apply to your pets needs. Every canine has a different  unique temperament and personality, just like us. By noticing this your success rate with the training will greatly improve.

It goes without saying that you need to obtain a plan and stick with the plan when it comes to dog training. Just because your pup is not catching on quite as fast as you think he/she should does not mean that he/she is no good.

Obedience lessons should begin pronto. Even though it is fun, to much play time and not enough work time may promote future bad habits.

Obedience Training Your Dog

Letting your pet know that you are in charge needs to be established. The house training of your new dog may prove to be your biggest challenge. Dogs are pack animals, and now that your new dog is in his new home you may have to occasionally let him know that you are in charge . Once your canine understands that you are “The Man” you will have far fewer challenges from him and the training process should become easier.

Part of the role of being pack leader is not being overly strict or applyingexcessive punishment,he is new to your home. Training time needs to be happy time, that you should never forget.

Do as much learning as you can via a good manual.Even if you just decided on impulse to get your new pet, it will never be to late to start learning about how to train your dog.

Stay positive, always keep learning and let your pup think there is nothing better in life than hanging out with you.
