Here’s the third Weimaraner training tip - be absolutely sure your dog understands what you are asking it to do. If he doesn’t fully understand what you are trying to convey, he will probably be bemused and do things incorrectly. This could prove to be very upsetting for both you and the dog, as he wishes to make you happy and cannot understand why you are dissatisfied. Just be sure you’re being clear when you ask your dog for a certain behavior. If you want him to shake hands put his paw in your hand and give him the command. Then continue repeating this as often as you possible can.
